Whipped Cracklin Rose Goat Cheese
This recipe is fresh, bright, and perfect for spring and summer snacking!
Ingredients
8 oz. goat cheese softened to room temperature
4 oz. cream cheese softened for a smoother texture
2 tbsp. Cracklin Rose syrup
1 tbsp. olive oil (optional, but this helps create a fluffier texture)
1/4 tsp. salt
zest of half a fresh lemon
optional, and highly recommended toppings:
fresh sliced strawberries
cracked pink peppercorns
rough chopped saled and roasted pistachios
fresh basil
additional syrup for drizzling
1 baguette lightly drizzled with olive oil and toasted or thick rustic crackers
Instruction
pre-heat your oven to 350 F
slice and toast your baguette and set aside
add your cheeses, oil, salt, and syrup to a stand mixer or a food processor and mix until smooth and fluffy in texture
once your cheese mixture is smooth, you can add it back to the refrigerator to firm up a bit if needed
Garnish the dish with lemon zest and serve with the toasted baguette or thick crackers
