Forte, Mocktail & Cocktail

Named after Philosopher and Women’s Rights advocate, Gabrielle Suchon (1631 - 1703). Suchon's subject was the political and moral status of women. In her work, she advances arguments for why women ought to be allowed to live freely, exercise their powers of reason, and, crucially, decide their own fates. Lifting a glass to Gabrielle Suchon for speaking her educated mind, supporting women’s rights, staying focused on her message, and not following the lines of debate set before her - a votre sante!

Ingredients

• 2 oz earl grey tea, brewed strong and chilled

• 1 oz freshly squeezed lemon

• 1 oz Lavender Grace

• top with sparkling water

• optional: 1.5 - 2 oz vodka or Lillet

• garnish: dehydrated lemon

Instructions

• Mix the chilled tea, lemon juice, and syrup until well blended

• top with ice and fill the glass with ice and top with sparkling water, stirring gently to incorporate

• Garnish with a dehydrated lemon slice
