Strawberry Margarita, Cocktail & Mocktail
I love this strawberry margarita with the Strawberry Fields or Cracklin Rose syrups!
Ingredients
2 oz blanco or silver tequila
Mezcal (optional)
.25 oz triple sec
2 oz fresh-squeezed lime juice
1.5 - 2 oz Strawberry Fields or Cracklin Rose syrup
Optional: kosher salt, Tajin, and lime wheel
Instructions
I love to add a little bit of smokey flavor to this margarita by rinsing the inside of the glass with Mezcal or spritzing mezcal over the top of the margarita
I also like my margarita rimmed with a 50/50 mix of kosher salt and Tajin! Run a lime wedge along the top outside of your glass and gently roll/dip into the salt and Tajin or salt mixture
Into a shaker half filled with ice pour the tequila, triple sec, lime juice, and syrup and shake until well chilled. Carefully pour the margarita and ice into your rimmed glass and garnish with a lime wheel
Note: if you aren’t a tequila drinker, substitute the tequila for vodka, or omit the booze and make it a mocktail!
